Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 2026

Thank you for visiting the Great Life Chiropractic website. Your privacy matters to us. This policy explains, in plain language, what information our website collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. This policy applies to our website, www.greatlifechiro.com. It does not cover the care we provide in our office. That is covered by our Notice of Privacy Practices (see "Health information and HIPAA" below).

Information we collect

Information you give us

  • Contact and appointment request forms: your name, email address, phone number, and the message you write.
  • Newsletter signup: your email address (and your name, if you provide it).
  • Calls, emails, and texts: any information you choose to share when you contact us directly.

Information collected automatically

When you visit our site, some information is collected automatically through cookies and similar technologies. This may include your IP address, browser and device type, general location (such as city or region), the pages you view, how you arrived at our site, and how long you stay. See "Cookies and analytics" below.

How we use it

We use the information we collect to:

  • Respond to your questions and appointment requests.
  • Contact you by phone, email, or text about your request or upcoming visits.
  • Send our newsletter and occasional updates, if you have signed up. You can unsubscribe at any time.
  • Understand how visitors use our website so we can improve it and provide you with a better service.
  • Measure and improve our advertising, including on Facebook and Instagram (see below).
  • Protect our website from spam and abuse.
  • Meet legal requirements.

Cookies and analytics

Cookies are small files stored on your device that help websites work and help site owners understand how their site is used. We use:

  • Essential cookies that help the site function and remember your cookie choices.
  • Analytics cookies from Google Analytics 4, which help us see which pages are visited and how people find us. This information is reported to us in aggregate.
  • Marketing cookies from the Meta (Facebook) pixel, which help us measure how well our ads work and show our ads to people who may be interested in our practice.
  • Cookies set by embedded content, such as videos and maps (see "Sharing with service providers").

We use a cookie tool (Complianz) to manage these cookies. You can review and change your cookie choices at any time on our Opt-out Preferences page: https://www.greatlifechiro.com/opt-out-preferences/, which also serves as our cookie policy. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings, though some parts of the site may not work as well.

Sharing with service providers

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with companies that help us run our website and practice, or when required by law. These service providers include:

  • Google – Google Analytics 4 (website analytics), reCAPTCHA v3 (spam protection on our forms), Google Maps (embedded map), Google Fonts (website fonts), and YouTube (embedded videos).
  • Meta (Facebook and Instagram) – the Facebook pixel for advertising measurement, and our embedded Instagram feed.
  • Wistia – embedded videos.
  • Complianz – managing cookie consent and your privacy choices.
  • Our website hosting provider and email services – to operate the site, process form submissions, and send our newsletter.
  • AtlasHub – the online scheduling and appointment management platform for requesting or booking appointments (see below).

When you use our forms or view embedded content, these companies may receive information such as your IP address and browser details. Each has its own privacy policy that can be reviewed.

Please note: some US state privacy laws treat the use of advertising cookies, such as the Facebook pixel, as "sharing" personal information for targeted advertising, even though no money changes hands. You can opt out of this sharing as described below.

We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect our rights or the safety of others, or as part of a sale or transfer of our practice.

Your choices and opt-out

  • Cookies and advertising: Visit our Opt-out Preferences page at https://www.greatlifechiro.com/opt-out-preferences/ to opt out of analytics and marketing cookies, including "sharing" for targeted advertising.
  • Global Privacy Control: Our cookie tool is designed to recognize Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals sent by supported browsers and extensions. Where your browser sends a GPC signal, we aim to treat it as a request to opt out of sharing for targeted advertising.
  • Emails: Click "Unsubscribe" at the bottom of any newsletter or marketing email, or call our office and ask to be removed.
  • Texts: Reply STOP to opt out of text messages, or call our office.
  • Your information: You may contact us to ask what personal information we have collected through our website, or to ask us to correct or delete it. We will respond as required by applicable law. We may need to verify your identity first.
  • Forms: Fields marked with an asterisk (*) are required to submit a form. Other fields are optional.

That notice, not this website policy, governs how we use and protect your health information.

Children's privacy

Our website is intended for parents, guardians, and adults seeking information or appointments for themselves or their children. Parents or guardians may contact us on behalf of their children. If you believe a child has sent us personal information through our website, please contact us and we will delete it.

We keep website information only as long as we need it for the purposes described in this policy, or as long as the law requires. Analytics data is kept according to our Google Analytics retention settings. Newsletter information is kept until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it.
